Da Nang’s Hi-Tech Park and Industrial Zones Authority (DHPIZA) is targeting 50% of this year’s foreign direct investment (FDI) to be in the semiconductor industry. In 2023, the park attracted $260 million in investments and is preparing for more in the coming years.
Preferential policies are being extended to key sectors, with significant upcoming investments from Taiwanese company Foxlink and South Korea’s ICT Vina Co. Ltd. The local government is also planning to expand the Hi-Tech Park and is focused on attracting investments in electronics, semiconductors, and medical equipment, while revoking land from inactive projects to create space for new investors.
