Intel denies any additional investment in Vietnam

Intel has not announced any additional investment in Vietnam beyond the USD1.5 billion it has already made so far. Intel began its operation in Vietnam in 2006 with a chip manufacturing and testing factory in Ho Chi Minh City. The company has committed to long-term investment in Vietnam and is expanding its investment in chip packaging in Malaysia, a key competitor in attracting foreign direct investment.
