Vietnam Boasts Opportunities to develop semiconductor industry. Vietnam’s Minister of Planning and Investment, Nguyen Chi Dung, highlighted the country’s potential for the semiconductor industry at the Vietnam Business Summit 2023. He highlighted the country’s stable political system and favorable geographical location as key factors for its development.
The Vietnamese government has emphasized cooperation and investment in the sector, with an action plan and human resources development master plan aimed at training 50,000 engineers by 2030. Vietnam has also attracted investment from major corporations in the US, South Korea, and Taiwan.
