Foreign ambassadors and representatives from diplomatic missions and international organizations will converge at Duong Lam ancient village in Hanoi to experience traditional Vietnamese Lunar New Year (Tet) celebrations. The two-day event, starting January 20, includes a Tet market with calligraphy, folk performances, and cooking demonstrations of traditional foods like Banh Chung.
Guests will partake in Tet customs such as house visits, ancestor worship, and exchanging greetings and lucky money. Cultural immersion extends to visiting a local lacquer workshop and engaging in Vietnamese folk games, all part of an effort to promote Vietnamese culture globally for the third consecutive year.
