Digital technology firms, revenue up over 30% in five years

US tech firms, including Intel, Qualcomm, Infineon, and Synopsys, met with Vietnamese officials to discuss the potential for Vietnam’s semiconductor industry. Vietnam aims to boost jobs and tech mastery in microchip development, supported by its strong STEM talent pool. John Neuffeur, president of the US Semiconductor Industry Association, praised Vietnam’s dedication to semiconductor industry development and urged increased support for university research. The forum also explored the development and commercialization of new tech-based products, with the Ministry of Information and Communications honoring Vietnamese groups for their digital tech contributions. Exhibitions showcased “Make in Vietnam” digital products for visitors to experience.
